Applications for the DRS Arts Grant 2027 are open from 3 to 23 November 2026. There is no fee to apply.
Before you begin
Have these ready.
The form takes you through eight short sections. See exactly what each section asks for.
- 8–10 recent artworks as JPGs (max 1 MB each), with title, year, medium and size
- A response about your practice (up to 500 words, or audio / video)
- A response about what's next and why it matters now (up to 500 words, or audio / video)
- A written note on how the grant would help, with an approximate budget and a timeline of up to 12 months
- Your Artist Bio / CV as a PDF, max 2 pages
- Optional: artist statement, links and anything else you would like us to know
Language
English, Hindi, Gujarati or any Indian language.
Typed, handwritten, audio, voice note or video, wherever indicated.

With typing, translation, uploading or understanding the form, as long as the ideas, answers and artworks genuinely represent you.

Declaration & Consent
By submitting an application, you confirm that:
- The information provided by me is true and correct to the best of my knowledge and understanding.
- The artworks submitted are my own original works, and the authorship and ownership information provided by me is accurate.
- Where any photograph, text, video, music, collaborative work, reference material or other third-party material is included, I have the necessary rights, permissions or consent to submit and use it.
- To the best of my knowledge, the material submitted by me does not unlawfully infringe the copyright, intellectual property, privacy or other rights of any individual or organisation.
- I understand that I remain responsible for the accuracy, authenticity, authorship and permissions relating to all material submitted by me.
- I agree to provide further information, documents or clarification if requested by DRS Arts Company® during the review or selection process.
- I understand that submission of an application does not guarantee selection.
- I understand that DRS Arts Company® and the appointed Jury may verify the information submitted and may decline, withdraw or cancel an application, selection, Grant or Award if any information is subsequently found to be materially incorrect, misleading, misrepresented or in violation of the Grant terms.
- I permit DRS Arts Company® and the appointed Jury to access and review the information and material submitted for the purpose of evaluation, selection and administration of the DRS Arts Grant.
- If selected, I agree to complete the required verification, documentation and Grant / Award acceptance formalities before announcement or disbursement.
- I understand that the copyright in my original artworks remains with me unless otherwise agreed separately in writing. If selected, I may be asked to grant DRS Arts Company® permission to reproduce selected artwork images, my name, biography and related material for the DRS Arts Grant website, catalogue, archive, documentation, press and communication purposes.
