The DRS Arts Grant takes a philosophy DRS Arts Company® has practised since 2004 and opens it wider: standing behind artists when the right support, at the right moment, can make a meaningful difference.

What was once largely relationship-led and known through conversations, references and the gallery's own network is now accessible to artists across India through three grants and one award, supporting different stages of artistic practice.

For the artist, the aim is not only to make the next artwork possible, but to create room to research, experiment, develop, document and continue.
